AB: Idrys Haven

Ring Road - a support road that consists of fixing and synchronizing Air Treks with their respective riders. They are, in a sense, specialized mechanics in that they cannot participate in Parts Wars or Team Battles-- but while mechanics work with the surface-level technicalities, tuners are far more knowledgeable of the intimate workings of ATs. They create the ultimate configuration between a rider and their equipment by listening to the “rhythm” of the body and ATs, subsequently synchronizing them to the optimal levels by adjusting parts and values inside of the ATs.

Idrys is not exactly the most spoiled child on the planet, but she does have a tendency to take some things for granted. She thinks herself somewhat superior to others, while still maintaining that she might not be the best tuner (or the best person, really) around. Flirtation is one of her tendencies, although usually she doesn't apply it unless there's something she wants or needs. While it's not that she doesn't like to rely on others, she's grown up as more of an independent person and isn't used to asking others for help or advice. Idrys considers herself very responsible, although in reality, if it's not something related to air treks, she does lean slightly towards irresponsible. She likes to speak her mind, being a bit too blunt at times, and is not particularly patient, although if she needs to, she can wait for long periods of time.}

Growing up in a somewhat wealthy neighborhood, Idrys was the child of parents who were too busy and had no time to properly raise her. She spent most of her childhood with her beloved grandmother, who spoiled her relentlessly and gave her whatever she needed (but not exactly whatever she wanted). Her grandmother liked to tell her she was a princess, so that's what she often thought of herself as. But as the years passed, she saw less and less of her parents, who were continuously traveling around the world. When she was twelve, she was convinced that if she walked across the country, she'd be able to find her parents and tell her exactly what she thought of them (which, to be honest, wasn't much). Her grandmother convinced her out of this ridiculous idea, but gave her instead her first pair of high tops, which were the most beautiful things she had ever seen.

When Idrys was 16, she met a stormrider. He was the leader of a well-known A rank team, but he was not a king. She confessed to him, thinking that she would be accepted, but to her great dismay, she was rejected. Idrys had never been rejected before. Desperate to not break her streak -- and yes, she was rather infatuated with him -- she asked if there was anything that she could do to win him over. He thought for a bit before responding that he did, actually, need a tuner.....

Idrys never really paid attention to Air Treks before. Sure, the guy she was crushing on loved his AT's more than his own life, but she never really thought of them very highly, despite seeing many people around her use them as they got older. But if it was for him, she would do anything. A little bit bored at first, Idrys began to learn how to tune. As a link tuner, she kept improving her skill and found, to her delight, that she was actually pretty good at tuning. Somehow, she was able to match the rhythm of AT's to the rhythm of the rider. At some point, she stopped tuning because she still crushed on the stormrider; she merely wanted to impress him.

After three years, she finally met up with the stormrider again, and he was able to confirm that Idrys was a top-notch tuner; he said that she could easily become a link tuner for someone of B rank. Upon hearing this, she put in more work and more effort trying to improve her skills, her speed, anything, really, that would enable her to tune for the stormrider. She was determined to repay him for the new passion she found, and she thought tuning would be just the way to do it. However, when she saw him next, he was paralyzed from the waist down, receiving a spinal injury in one of his last battles -- he was playing decoy in a Rank A Parts War when he was attacked by a strong stormrider.

-Gareki: She adores her rider. ADORES HIM. You say his name with any bad associations, and she'll chop your head off and cook it and serve it to your mother with wasabi and mustard. She's somewhere between motherly loving and crushing really hard and biggest admirer-ing him, but she's finding it harder and harder to flirt with him like she did before, especially when it's just the two of them alone, because he makes her full of soft feels hnnnngh. Bared more about herself to him than she has to many others, and loves the way he smells and acts. Though she doesn't have any particular ideas for him to become sky king, she'll follow her rider no matter where he goes. Somehow, he seems to come at all the times she really needs him. Does she love him ?
Seth: He's a fucking asshole sometimes, yeah ? She can't say she doesn't enjoy being in his company though, because he's almost like a comic relief; she knows she can beat up his butt, and she's pretty sure he knows it too. She can't flirt with him either; he's too exasperating for her to deal with. Jealous of him because it seems he spends more time with her rider than she does.... /squints
Shinri: He has the same tattoo as her! He intrigues her, especially since she doesn't know much about him besides the fact that he's a mechanic. He owes himself a bowl of food, and she thinks it's kind of cute when he's afraid of thunder. Happened to chance upon his weakness (his jawline mukekekekekeke) and now continually attacks it when she sees him.
Rem: Ah, what a cutie. Respects her as a sempai but is forever in love with her adorable side, kyaaaa
